Biography
Born and raised in London, Stefan Krieger is an artist and composer who produces, writes and sings his own R&B, Pop, Dance and score compositions. Born to a Portuguese mother and Guyanese father, his multicultural upbringing helped form the distinctive sound he brings to his projects. Some of his artistic influences are Timbaland, Justin Timberlake and Michael Jackson. The sound of his score compositions has formed from listening to composers like Michael Giacchino, James Newton Howard and Ennio Morricone.
Film and music was always an important and prominent source of entertainment in his household growing up. He became accustomed to listening to a large range of contrasting music from film and his parents. At the age of 11, Stefan was gifted his teachers old piano which began his spark for the art of music creation. Being unable to read music, he discovered that he had the unique ability to listen to music and play it by ear. This eventually lead Stefan to begin writing his own music. It was at this point that he decided he would build a home studio to improve the sound quality of his compositions. Simultaneously, his love for film set him on a creative path within Acting. In 2014, He started a 2 year Acting degree at Kingston College and left with a Distinction* Distinction Level 3 diploma. He soon came to the conclusion that his passion for music superseded his admiration for the art of being a screen actor.
Crafting music from his home studio that he has been engineering since 2017, he created the soundtrack for the short film ‘Seated at the Circle’ which was an official selection at New Yorks Chelsea Film Festival (2019). In 2023, Stefan created a score for the stage play ‘The Boys’ which was for one night only at the New Wimbledon Theatre. Stefan has also composed the theme to ‘Phoenix Cinema Podcast’, the audio podcast from the historic Phoenix Cinema in East Finchley, London which began at the start of 2024.
He is currently undergoing a Bachelor's degree in ‘Music for TV, Film and Games’ at the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance in Kilburn, London.
Stefan is on the tail end of finishing his first EP titled ‘Power of Me,’ set to release in 2025. It embodies a blend of nostalgic R&B and electronic elements, alongside a variety of original Pop music. He also attained collaborations with artists from the United States to elevate his music.
